The machine comprises a frame (1) of spring-leaf spring suspension (2) over standard railway wheel pairs (3) and wheels (4). Frame (1) structurally forms the fuel tanks (5), and under it air cylinders (6) are fitted. It has compact design and has nearly twice as small overall dimensions. On frame (1), more than one motor (7) is fitted, to each of which there is a transmission system. Each transmission system comprises hydrodynamic transmitter (8), intermediate reducer (9), elastic connector (10) and cardan shaft (11), connected to a wheel pair reducer (12), mounted to the respective wheel pair (3). Motors (7) with the transmission systems form individual driving groups which can operate both individually and together for ensuring the necessary traction force. The driving groups are connected to a common lubrication system which offers double protection. To each motor (7) a screw compressor (13) is fitted. Brakes (14) are disc-type, one each for each driving group. The units to the machine are covered by a canopy (16) supplied with doors (17) of butterfly type, enabling complete access for servicing. To the machine a control board (20) is provided, which is fitted on the side of the covering canopy (16). The control of the modes of operation of the shunting machine is effected directly from the control or the remote control board. A device for light indication (22) for the respective mode of operation of the units is also provided. 7 claims, 2 figures
