PURPOSE: A spool for dual-bearing reel is provided to carry out the exact casting of a fishing line. CONSTITUTION: The spool(12) for dual-bearing reel is installed on a spool shaft(16), which is supported by a reel body, and rotated according to the rotation of a handle, which is mounted on the reel body. The spool(12) includes: a cylindrical bobbin trunk(12b), whose inner circumference is mounted on the spool shaft(16), and on whose outer circumference a fishing line is wound; and a flange(12a), which is composed of an inner and outer flange(12e,12f). The inner flange(12e) is installed on both ends of the bobbin trunk(12b) in a projecting manner to the radial outside. The outer flange(12f) projects from the outer circumference of the inner flange(12e) to the radial outside. The specific weight of the outer flange(12f) is small relatively to the bobbin trunk(12b).
