PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device for a use on a personal device performing a predetermined function, assuring a high abuse preventing effect.

SOLUTION: The authentication device 10 comprises a function part 101 for performing a predetermined function used by a user, a myoelectric potential acquisition part 102 for measuring changes in myoelectric potential signals generated by muscular movement of the user, and a status transition part 104 for transforming the predetermined function of the function part 101 to a status available to the user.
