<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for guiding a plurality of users to bookshelves containing data that they seek simultaneously or in parallel in a data control system using a computer. <P>SOLUTION: This search data bookshelf guide system comprises data to which labels including radio IC chips are attached, bookshelves storing the data, a radio IC chip reading device to simultaneously read a number of numbers recorded in the radio IC chips installed on the bookshelves by the unit predetermined, display units capable of displaying user numbers, guide devices installed in a library to guide the users, a terminal for search for target data, and a data base for stored data. Display units are provided on the bookshelves to display user information. Based on operation from the terminal for search for data, the user number read from a user card is recorded, a bookshelf number for the data in search is displayed in a monitor device by the guide device, and user information is displayed in the display unit disposed on the bookshelf. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
