<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller having a position estimating means which can stably and accurately estimate a rotor position even when a local magnetic saturation occurs in a motor current direction by large current. <P>SOLUTION: A method for disassembling a stator includes an AC motor 2 having a saliency, a PWM inverter 3 for applying a voltage to the motor 2, and a controller 1 for controlling the inverter 3 according to a PWM signal. The controller 1 includes a position estimating means 11 for detecting a motor inductance of a current vector direction (X-axis) of the motor 2 and a motor inductance of a direction (Y-axis) perpendicular to the current vector, and estimating a rotor position of the motor based on the detected motor inductances of the X-, Y-axis directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
