PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation switch which is preferable for operating sequential variations, and which can respond to demand of further downsizing of equipment. SOLUTION: A linear switch 1 is provided with a lower insulation sheet 4, in which a plurality of lower contact points 10 are arranged in a row along a longitudinal direction, an upper insulation sheet 6, in which upper contact points 11 corresponding to each lower contact point 10 are arranged in a row along the longitudinal direction, and a spacer 5, which is interposed between the upper insulation sheet 6 and the lower insulation sheet 4, and which separates the upper contact point 11 from the lower contact point 10 in electrically insulated states, and when the upper insulation seat 6 is pressed along the direction of the arrangement row of the contact points 11, 10, the upper contact point 11 and the lower contact point 10 are contacted in order, and sequential variations are made as a prescribed output of the equipment.
