PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer auxiliary device having a simple structure and good appearance, which enables a sitter to easily reach a gripping body while sitting on a seat, and which does not hinder getting on and off and does not require mounting in a place for installing a seat or the like. SOLUTION: The gripping body 5 is provided in a lower part of an upper outer periphery of a seat part 2 so that a finger inserting gap 6 is secured between an outer periphery face of the seat part 2. Alternatively, the gripping body 5 can be continuously formed from lateral faces to a front face of the seat part 2. The seat part 2 may be used as a seat part of the seat 1 of an automobile.
