PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite bulk-textured yarn having not only good bulky lightweight feeling and gloss feeling but also excellent process-passage, and capable of imparting beautiful appearance and elegant feeling to a woven or knitted fabric; and to provide the woven or knitted fabric having the beautiful appearance and the elegant feeling by using the textured yarn. SOLUTION: The composite bulk-textured yarn is obtained by feeding two or more filament yarns as core yarns, excessively feeding a thermoplastic filament yarn having heat shrinkage characteristics as a sheath yarn to a false-twisting zone of the core yarn by using a doubling guide present at a specified position and having a specific shape, and texturing the yarns under a specific condition in the false-twisting texturing of winding the sheath yarn around the periphery of the core yarn. The composite bulk-textured yarn has the sheath yarn singly winding around the periphery of the core yarn, includes no nep, slub or the like, has gloss feeling and hardly generates a yarn-separated part.
