FILTRATION UNIT, FILTER, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration unit which uses a separation membrane and can always maintain the filtration performance of the membrane high even when it filters a large amount of raw water and can be automated because the filter can continue a filtration operation even during the restoration of the performance of the membrane. SOLUTION: The filtration unit is prepared by encasing a filter element 4 using a filtration membrane using a separation membrane having permselectivity in a housing 22 having a raw water inlet 5 and a filtrate exit 7 to form a filtration module 10 and providing an automatic opening and closing means 14 which stops the supply of water or the filtrate at a specified time to maintain the separation membrane under zero-pressure condition on at least either of the inlet 5 and exit 7 of the module 10.
