Class 100(2) [Also in Group XVII] A tubular container of plastics material, e.g. polyethylene, is made by mounting a hollow tube 26 on a mandrel 27 projecting from a disc 28 which is rotated in order to engage the tube 26 with a printing' roller 31, the printing being subsequently dried and a head formed on the body, e.g. by injection moulding. A movable holder 34 supports the free end of the mandrel during the printing operation. After printing, the tube is stripped from the mandrel and passed through a drying oven, Fig. 3 (not shown) and, if the tube is of double length, it is then halved, Fig. 4 (not shown).
