PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive new digital still camera with high sensitivity and a high dynamic range for solving the disadvantages of an imaging system using a silver halide photosensitive material or a digital still camera system using a solid-state imaging element of an inorganic material by employing an organic image sensor for an imaging element, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.
