PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode tab and a battery pack in which even if there happens a firing accident or the like, the production lot number indication remains without disappearing. SOLUTION: The production lot number is indicated on the electrode tab 1 main body made of a conductive metal. Since the production lot number is indicated by depression and protrusion on the electrode tab made of metal, even if there happens a fire in an accident, the indication does not disappear by burning. Thereby, the production lot number can be recognized easily, therefore, cause analysis can be made smoothly and the electrode tab 1 as well as the battery pack using it having excellent reliability can be realized.
