PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording device and an optical information reproducing device which are good in efficiency in case of the occurrence of an error in hologram recording and are capable of performing adequate recording/reproducing data processing, and a recording medium storing a program for realizing such devices. SOLUTION: The optical information recording device records information to the optical information recording medium by utilizing holography. The device records page data consisting of two-dimensional pixel data as the interference patterns of information light and reference light for recording carrying the information of the page data in the prescribed positions of the optical information recording medium and decides whether the recording of the page data is normally performed or not at this time. The device controls optical recording operation according to the result of the decision. Also, when the decision is made that the recording of the data is not normally performed, the data is recorded again in the position different from the prescribed position where the data is first recorded.
