PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraper which is convenient in hadling, exerts the function of protection of a scraping blade by a simple operation, and enables work for replacing the scraping blade to be safely performed in a short period of time without different degrees of skills in the work. SOLUTION: In this scraper, the scraping blade 4 is held in a state of being sandwiched between a main plate 2 which is fixed to the tip of a handle 1, and the tip of an abutting plate 3 mounted on the main plate 2 in an overlapping manner; the abutting plate 3 is engaged with the main plate 2 via an engaging part 5 in such a manner as to advance freely; and a regulation screw 12 for regulating the movement of the abutting plate 2 is screwed into the base of the main plate 2 in the rear of the engaging part 5.
