PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful living matter extermination method in a building, and a building structure, for exterminating harmful living matters such as termite and timber decay fungus without using an agent. SOLUTION: A gas generated by sublimating solidified carbon dioxide is filled in an under floor spacial part S including a part where the harmful living matters are prevalent or often prevalent, of the building to replace a part or the whole of the air in the under floor spacial S by the gas, whereby the harmful living matters are choked and exterminated.
