PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding device capable of shielding clearances all around an existing door by fitting to the existing door. SOLUTION: This shielding device comprises a side shielding device having side shielding plates fitted to the sides of the door and shielding clearances between the door and opening parts along the sides thereof and a projection and storage mechanism allowing the side shielding plates to be projected when the door is closed and storing the side shielding plates when the door is open and interlocking mechanisms disposed at both ends of the side shielding device and allowing the adjacent side shielding devices to be interlocked with each other. Also, the shielding device comprises at least square shielding plates fitted to the corner parts of the door and moving in conjunction with the adjacent side shielding plates, a trigger device installed on one of the side shielding devices and operating the projection and storage mechanisms of the side shielding devices through the interlocking mechanisms to project the side shielding plates, and a storage device installed on one of the side shielding devices and operating the projection and storage mechanism of the side shielding devices through the interlocking mechanisms to store the side shielding plates.
