PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a plating film having excellent adhesiveness by pretreatment of a short time without roughening the surface of a resin workpiece. SOLUTION: The resin workpiece is brought into contact with a first solution containing ozone and is simultaneously irradiated with UV rays. The activation by the ozone water treatment and the activation by the UV treatment are synergistically acted and the plating film having the excellent strength of adhesion can be formed by the treatment of the short time. Also, the degradation in the strength of adhesion can be suppressed even when the treatment is performed for a long time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
