PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator cage, an elevator having the elevator cage, and a method of assembling the elevator. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the elevator cage 1, the elevator 100 having the elevator cage 1, and the method of assembling the elevator 100. The elevator cage 1 comprises a three-dimensional body 5 for storing persons or articles to be transported and a support body 10 for receiving all forces acting on the three-dimensional body during the transportation of the persons or articles. The three-dimensional body 5 is suspended in the support body 10. The support body 10 comprises two side frames 11 and 12, and these side frames are connected to each other in a moment rigidity pattern through at least one apex frame.
