PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for producing a die whose usable time is longer than that of the conventional composition for producing a die, and to provide a method of producing a die for casting using the composition for producing a die. SOLUTION: The gaseous ternary amine hardenable composition for producing a die comprises a phenolic resin obtained by adding/condensing phenols and aldehydes in the presence of a metal salt catalyst, an isocyanate compound, phosphorous acid triester and a granular refractory aggregate.
