PURPOSE: Provided is a battery pack which can detect temperature increase without positioning a heat sensitive fuse on the main electric current route, and control the on-off of power supply over the main electric current route. CONSTITUTION: The battery pack comprises: a battery cell(B), which stores electric energy and can be charged and discharged; pack terminals which are connected to the battery cell through the main electric current route, and can be connected to an exterior power supply device or load; a heat sensitive fuse(F) which is formed parallel to the main electric current route between the battery cell and pack terminals, and can detect temperature increase around the battery cell and turn off both ends when the temperature increase is over a preset temperature range; and a switching element such as a field effect transistor(FET), which is connected between the heat sensitive fuse and the main electric current route, and can be turned on, then bypass the current on the main electric current route from the battery cell to the fuse, when both ends of the heat sensitive fuse are turned off.
