<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain estimate information that will satisfy both performance and a price. <P>SOLUTION: A WWW server 2, on receiving expected performance information from a user's terminal 1, attaches an estimate number and writes the expected performance information into a database server 3, and directs an estimation server 4 to estimate server products 5-7. The estimation server 4 causes the server products 5-7 to execute the processes of items for processing the expected performance information. The estimation server 4 acquires execution result data about any of the server products 5-7 whose expected performance is satisfactory, then acquires its estimate information from the database server 3, and sends this information and the execution result data to a mail server 8.
