<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for electronic commerce which transfers differential information from original information and enables a receiver or a third person to estimate that information obtained from the differential information from the original information is prepared by a transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting device which is prestored with form data common to two devices and transmits data encrypts original information, generates differential information and packages the encrypted original information and the differential information. A device for receiving the data unpackages the received data, restores the original information from the differential information and the form data, decrypts the encrypted data, and determines whether the decrypted data is coincident with the restored original information or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
