<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide processed food containing only a little or completely no animal protein and much vegetable protein, having excellent flavor and palate feeling almost similar to those of food or processed food containing much animal protein and increased in yield of production. <P>SOLUTION: The processed food is obtained by using a production raw material composed of an emulsion curdy flavor composition, vegetable protein, a liquid material and a solid material. The method for producing the processed food comprises mixing part or the whole of the liquid material with the vegetable protein, admixing the emulsion curdy flavor composition and the remaining production raw material with the mixture, and forming the mixture into a shape object fitting to the shape of processed food followed by producing with a conventional method.
