<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route controller in a mobile terminal capable of avoiding occurrence of congestion in registration processing of a mobile destination network and occurrence of a drop of packets during communication in a hand-off of a network adopting the mobile IP and to provide the mobile terminal, and a connection network switching method. <P>SOLUTION: The route controller performs communication in a mobile source network in parallel with registration processing of a mobile destination network until registration processing is completed, whereby the mobile terminal can attain sure communication in the connection destination network. For example, the route controller sets routing information so as to attain transmission via the mobile destination network at transmission of a registration request packet and switches the setting of the routing information so as to be connected to the mobile source network until a registration response is received thereafter. Further, after the completion of the registration processing, the route controller applies routing to the mobile destination network to be capable of avoiding the occurrence of a packet drop during the registration processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
