PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission speed of a data transmission device as much as possible while an increase of device cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the data transmission device, a data transmission side is provided with a multiplexer 51 selecting and outputting one of a plurality of inputted transmission side data channels and a selection command circuit SL transmitting a switch signal for sequentially switching selection of the transmission side data channel to the multiplexer 51 at a constant period. A data reception side is provided with a channel specification circuit CI outputting a channel specification signal for specifying from which transmission side data channel received data are transmitted based on the switching signal. The device is also provided with a reception side multiplication circuit RD multiplying a frequency of a timing signal outputted from the data transmission side to the data reception side. Data transmitted from the data transmission side are taken in synchronizing with an output signal of the reception side multiplication circuit RD. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
