PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile telephone which has a good antenna performance in various use and is easy to control in a simple circuit constitution. SOLUTION: To the mobile telephone, a 1st housing having a speaker which outputs voice and a display part which displays data and a 2nd housing which has operation keys are connected so that they are opened and closed by turning. The 1st housing is provided with a 1st antenna and the 2nd housing is provided with a 2nd antenna; when data are sent and received, a radio part is switched and connected to the 1st antenna and when a voice is sent and received, the radio part is connected to the 2nd antenna.
