PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duty blind sector over-correction preventing method of an electric power steering device for preventing over-correction occurring when an electronic apparatus varies and improving steering feeling. SOLUTION: This duty blind sector over-correction preventing method is applied to an electric power-steering device 100 provided with a steering torque detecting element 112 for detecting steering torque, a motor 110 for providing steering torque, and a motor control part 118 for generating a duty signal for control based on at least a steering torque signa and PWM-driving the motor based on the after-correction duty after the duty of the duty signal is corrected with a predetermined blind sector correction amount. The duty blind sector over-correction preventing method comprises a current detecting step (step S102) of detecting current flowing in the motor, and over-correction preventing steps (steps S104, S105, S106 and S107) for reducing the blind sector correction amount when vibration of detected current is large.
