PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system, a hub and a method for constructing the network system enabling a supplicant under a plurality of environments to access under environments, respectively, without reconstruction of a network environment such as a domain and coordination of authentication servers. SOLUTION: An access point (AP) 30 (A), when receiving a start request for authentication from a station (STA) 40 (B), acquires supplicant identifying information (EAP-response/identity) from the STA 40 (B) and searches a RADIUS (remote authentication dial in user service) server 20 (A/B) for authenticating the AP 30 (B) by pattern-matching to a rule table (RT) 31.
