PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply determining the concentration of a compound containing a phosphoric acid or a phosphate radical in an organism by measuring fluorescence. SOLUTION: In the method for measuring the concentration of the compound containing the phosphoric acid or the phosphate radical, the fluorescence is measured. The fluorescence is emitted by a complex of a fluorescent substance expressed by the following general expression (I):Ln-S-N and a lanthanoid metal ion. In the general expression, Ln, S, and N represent 4,4'-bis(1",1",1",2",2",3",3"-heptafluoro-4",6"-hexanedione-6"-yl)chlorosulfo-o-terphenyl or its derivative, a spacer molecule, and a nucleotide, respectively.
