FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant aromatic thermoplastic resin composition which is produced by using a highly safe silicone compound and has highly flame-retardant properties without impairing moldability and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 parts wt. of an aromatic thermoplastic resin (A), 1-10 parts wt. of a liquid silicone compound (B-1) and 1-10 parts wt. of a resinous silicone compound (B-2). The liquid silicone compound (B-1) is a silicone compound compatible with the aromatic thermoplastic resin (A) and the liquid silicone compound (B-2) and the resinous silicone compound (B-2) is substantially not compatible with the aromatic thermoplastic resin (A).
