PURPOSE: Provided is a flame-resistant thermoplastic composition, which has excellent physical properties including flame-resistance, heat resistance and mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: The flame-resistant thermoplastic composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin; 0.01-1.0 parts by weight of a perfluoroalkane sulfonate salt; and 5-15 parts by eight of a glass fiber. The perfluoroalkane sulfonate salt used as a flame-retardant is selected from the group consisting of a sodium salt or a potassium salt of perfluoromethane sulfonate, perfluoroethane sulfonate, perfluoropropane sulfonate, perfluorobutane sulfonate, perfluoromethylbutane sulfonate, perfluorohexane sulfonate, perfluoroheptane sulfonate and perfluoroocatne sulfonate; tetraethylammonium perfluorobutane sulfonate; tetraethylammonium perfluoromethyl butane sulfonate; and a mixture thereof.
