PURPOSE: A key button coated with film is provided to prevent damage of a printed surface of key buttons in fabricating and using the key buttons and variously implement designs and colors of the key buttons. CONSTITUTION: A key button includes a pressing part(100) having an empty central portion and an opening at its lower portion, a film(300) having a printed surface(200) made of a material preventing light transmission, and a base plate(400) having a color. The printed surface(200) has a character or a symbol of an origination signal corresponding to operation of the pressing part(100). The pressing part(100), the film(300) and the base plate(400) are made of light transmittable material. The pressing part(100) and the film(300) are made of transparent material. The printed surface-formed side of the film(300) is attached to an outer side of the convex side of the pressing part(100). The base plate(400) is coupled to the opening of the pressing part(100). Since the printed surface(200) is covered and protected by the film(300), it cannot be damaged although a user presses the pressing part(100) or if an external contact is made to the pressing part(100).
