PURPOSE: An ice making device is provided to obtain ice pieces with high efficiency by spraying water to ice making units with a uniform water pressure without scattering to neighboring ice making units by modifying the structure of water spraying plates. CONSTITUTION: An ice making device includes an ice making container(1), and an ice storing container(2). The ice making container includes one or more ice making chambers(1a) formed in the independent structure. The ice making chambers respectively include a plurality of ice making units(3) formed of a single water spraying plate(6) and a plurality of ice making plates(7), water tanks(5a,5b) for supplying water to the water spraying plates mounted to the respective ice making units, a pair of ice breaking rollers(8a,8b) mounted parallel to each other for breaking ice pieces obtained in the ice making units, and a conveying screw(8) mounted at a lower part of the rollers for conveying broken ice pieces to a side. A mechanical chamber(1b) is independently provided in the ice making container and includes a freezing unit(4) formed of a compressor, a condenser, and a receiver tank, and circulates a refrigerant to the ice making plates. The ice storing container is mounted at a lower part of the ice making container for storing the broken ice pieces.
