PURPOSE: A vehicle air conditioner is provided to minimize the air ventilation resistance while increasing a wind blowing amount in cool mode, and smoothly supply heat exchanged air to the inside. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle air conditioner includes an evaporator(10), a heater(20), a temp door(30), first to third chambers(40,60,80), and a conversion part(70). The evaporator is supplied with air blown by a blower mounted to an instrument panel and cools the air. The heater is positioned at an upper position than the evaporator. The temp door is disposed between the evaporator and the heater for controlling chilled air passing the evaporator and an air blowing amount toward the heater. The first chamber guides the chilled air to the upper part of the temp door, and is mounted with an air guide door at an uppermost position of the first chamber for controlling the chilled air blowing amount. The second chamber guides the air to the upper part of the heater and the outside of the first chamber. The third chamber mixes the chilled air passing through the first chamber with the warm air passing through the heater by the second chamber, and is communicated with the second chamber. The conversion part converts the discharge direction of the air received in the third chamber toward floor discharge holes, vent discharge holes and defroster discharge holes.
