The looped material consists of backing layer (1) of film or non-woven fabric, covered with first set of loops (2), each loop having 2 legs (3,4) projecting from backing layer. The material has second set of loops (6), each with 2 legs (7,8) projecting from backing layer and interlaced with first set, i.e. first section (5) of first loop interlaced with second section (9) of second loop. The looped material consists of backing layer (1) of film or non-woven fabric, preferably plastic, covered with first set of loops (2), especially of knitted material, each loop having two legs (3,4) projecting from backing layer. The material has second set of loops (6), each with two legs (7,8) projecting from backing layer and interlaced with first set, i.e. with a first section (5) of first loop being interlaced with second section (9) of second loop. The backing layer is coated with an adhesive on the opposite side to the loops.
