摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long life lithium secondary battery in which deterioration of capacity and output caused by charge and discharge cycles and storage at high temperature state is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: On both faces of aluminum foil, a positive electrode mixture containing lithium manganate of positive electrode active material, graphite powder of electroconductive material, and polyvinyl alcohol series resin composition in which thermosetting property of a binder is provided and which is plasticized, is coated, thereby the positive electrode is fabricated. The binder is fabricated by mixing the thermosetting polyvinyl alcohol series resin and acrylic resin series plasticizer. The content of the active material is set at 70 vol% of the positive electrode mixture, and the content of the binder is set at 10 vol% of the positive electrode mixture. A cylindrical lithium ion battery is fabricated by the positive electrode and the negative electrode in which amorphous carbon is used as the negative electrode active material. Peeling off and falling off of the positive electrode mixture accompanied with the charge and discharge of the cylindrical lithium ion battery are suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
