DEVICE FOR INSPECTING BALANCE OF RIGHT AND LEFT CEREBRAL BLOOD FLOWS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for comprehending conditions of cerebral activities, to be applied as a medical instrument for various kinds of diagnoses.

SOLUTION: This device comprises a pair of ear hole attachments 1 installed with a measuring part 11 to measure intra-aural temperature with a temperature sensor having directivities toward head anterior and posterior sides at an eardrum when the attachments are put on, an arcuate shaped attachment parts-energizing part to oppositely hold the ear attachments 1 at its end and energize them in the opposite direction, and a processing part to process a prescribed calculation of values measured by the above measuring part and display the results. A balance of arterial/venous blood flows in the right brain hemisphere and the left brain hemisphere, and conditions of cerebral activities can be comprehended by positional and temporal differences in the temperatures of respective sites.
