<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic journalizing system and an automatic journalizing method that can increase the work performance of canceling and retransferring journalizing even if journal data have a large number of data to be canceled and retransferred, and can facilitate the discrimination of canceled and retransferred journal data. <P>SOLUTION: Parameters whose contents are a slip issuance date, a slip type and an abstract of canceling journalizing or retransferring journalizing, and a journal creation method are set. According to the parameters, canceling journalizing or retransferring journalizing is automatically effected from entered journal data retrieved or checked at entry. Journal creation methods include canceling journalizing (2) that reverses the debit and credit of an item of retrieved or checked journal data, canceling journalizing (3) that multiplies amounts of an item of retrieved or checked journal data by -1, and retransferring journalizing (5) that changes an account title of retrieved or checked journal data to a different account title and reverses the debit and credit.
