PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a control calculating means of an electric power steering controller. SOLUTION: An electric power steering controller 14 comprises a CPU 21 having built-in ROM 22 and RAM 23, an EEPROM 24 as a rewritable memory by an external device signal 30, an electric motor driving section 25 for receiving control from the CPU 21 and driving the electric motor 10, and an interface control section 26 for controlling an external signal. Label information, a constant, or formula data of map data are written into the EEPROM 24 from the outside of a vehicle through the external device signal 30. When the controller 14 starts, data of the EEPROM 24 is reflected on the RAM 23, and data of the RAM 23 is referred to in auxiliary steering force control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
