PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a tube body by avoiding the corrosion of a sealing part to improve reliability, in a magnetron having a cooling structure in the tube body. SOLUTION: This magnetron is provided with: a cooling jacket 11 comprising a sealed space formed on the inside wall surface of a cylindrical jacket 6 facing to the outside surface of a positive electrode cylinder 2 along the circumferential direction; a supply port 12a communicating with the cooling jacket 11 for supplying a coolant circulated in the cooling jacket 11; a drain port 12b communicating with the cooling jacket 11 for draining the coolant circulated in the cooling jacket 11 to the outside; and a partition plate 13 installed between the supply port 12a and the drain port 12b and installed so as to close a part of the inside of the cooling jacket 11 in the tube axis direction. Therefore, the coolant directly contacts the cylinder 2 and cylindrical jacket 6 by circulating the coolant in the cooling jacket 11, the cylinder 2 can efficiently be cooled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
