PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive collapsible warning flare with a simple structure needing no cleaning up after usage. SOLUTION: The warning flare is composed by fitting a cylindrical support base 1 with a collapsible structure made of inflammable material such as paper or plastic having a void part 2, and a band like protrusion 2 within a range of one to five times of an outer diameter of a warning flare body 4 in each outer side edge of a hollow square pole having a protruding part in each inner side face on a lower end of the warning flare body 4. By this, when the warning flare is erected on a road surface, the warning flare can be positively burned without toppling it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
