PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush of which the interdental penetrating property of the bristle tips is high, and which is excellent in hit feeling and toothbrushing feeling, and in addition, of which the dental plaque removing capability to every corner in the oral cavity is high. SOLUTION: A bristle bundle 1 is constituted of tapered bristles, and when seen from a side surface of a head part 2, the bristle bundle 1 group made of the tapered bristles is formed into a mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of one bundle and a mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of two bundles. At the same time, the heights of summits of the mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of two bundles and the mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of one bundle are made different. Also, the bristle bundles 1 and 1 for the mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of two bundles are tilted to the summit side of the mountain-shaped cut. In the meantime, at least either one of the mountain-shaped cut part on the front or the rear side being adjacent to the mountain-shaped cut part comprising one mountain of two bundles is formed into the mountain-shaped cut comprising one mountain of one bundle.
