PURPOSE: An antifouling paint composition with improved environmental friendliness, while maintaining antifouling ability, is provided, without using hazardous compounds such as organic tin, copper, or mercury compound, and the like. CONSTITUTION: The antifouling paint composition comprises: 10-15 wt% of resin; 20-30 wt% of solvent; 5-20 wt% of an antifouling agent mixed with polyhexamethylene guanidine salt represented by formula 1 and zinc pyrithione represented by formula 2; and 40-50 wt% of pigment, wherein the content of the zinc pyrithione is 0.01-100 times greater than that of polyhexamethylene guanidine salt in a mass ratio. In formula 1, X is independently inorganic or organic salt, R1 is independently C1-C20 straight or branched alkyl, phenyl, chlorophenyl, bromophenyl, iodophenyl, benzyl, chlorobenzyl, bromobenzyl, iodobenzyl, phenethyl or hydrogen, and n is an integer of 1 or more. |
