PURPOSE: A method for processing a multi PIP(Picture In Picture) system of television set is provided to sequentially select RF signals of received multi frequency bands at predetermined time, and to multi-decode the selected RF signals, then to supply a PIP window service, thereby realizing a high-quality service. CONSTITUTION: A system inputs channel information on a corresponding PIP and the number of requested PIP windows from a user. The system sequentially tunes frequency bands corresponding to channels for the corresponding PIP at predetermined time, and obtains signals of the corresponding channels. The system displays multi PIP screens by using the obtained image signals. The signals of the corresponding channels are signals of SD sub channels while receiving ATSC broadcasting signals. |
