END MILL SETTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An end mill setting device is provided to measure the repeated wear of an end mill at a fixed position and remove measuring errors by fixing the end mill to a tool holder after rotating the end mill at the angle corresponding to the measuring position. CONSTITUTION: An end mill setting device is composed of a holder fixing unit(60) for supporting a tool holder(61) mounted with a tool; a measuring unit(30) for setting the protruded length of the tool mounted to the tool holder and the mounting angle of the tool; and a table(T) on which the holder fixing unit and the measuring unit are placed. The holder fixing unit includes a recessed groove-shape central unit and a key groove inserting unit inserted into a key groove formed at the tool holder at the inside. The measuring unit has devices for measuring the protruded length of the tool and for setting the mounting angle of the tool.
