OPTICAL FIBER ARRAY HAVING HIGH DENSITY AND MULTI LAYER STRUCTURE FOR LASER BEAM INTEGRATION

摘要

PURPOSE: An optical fiber array having high density and multi layer structure for laser beam integration is provided to narrow down an optical fiber pitch interval to 63.5 micrometer narrower than a diameter of an optical fiber clad 127 micrometer. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber array block has a structure having an optical fiber interval of 63.5 micrometer vertically by stacking two stairs of an optical fiber array having 127 micrometer pitch. On a rear part accommodating optical fibers, a part of an optical fiber whose first and second coating are removed is adhered to a part of an optical fiber whose first coating is removed by an epoxy.
