PURPOSE: A caller ID display method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to display a caller ID in a various manner according to users' demand on a display window of a mobile terminal when a call is received. CONSTITUTION: A controller determines whether a call is received(400). When a destination signal is detected, the controller outputs a destination sound to a speaker(402). The controller determines whether a caller ID has been received(404). If the caller ID has been received, the controller stores the caller ID in a buffer of a memory(406). The controller searches the same caller ID in a phone book(408). The controller determines whether there is a phone number identical to the caller ID in the phone book(410). If there is no phone number identical to the caller ID in the phone book, the controller displays the caller ID on a display unit(412). If there is a phone number identical the caller ID, the controller displays content corresponding to a predetermined caller display item together with the caller ID on the display unit(414).
