PURPOSE: Provided are an anode for a lithium-sulfur battery containing a pretreatment layer having excellent lithium ion conductivity without volume swelling, a process for producing the anode, and the lithium-sulfur battery containing the anode. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing the anode for the lithium-sulfur battery contains the steps of: depositing the pretreatment layer on lithium metal under the inert gas, wherein the pretreatment layer contains a lithium ion conductive material having an ionic conductivity of more than 1x10¬-10S/cm and has a thickness of 50-5000 angstrom; depositing a lithium protecting layer on the pretreating layer.
