Methods for the treatment of inflammatory diseases including respiratory diseases, such as asthma and asthma related conditions, comprising regulation of the polypeptide mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3 (MKK3), agent which modulate the expression or activity of the polypeptide, methods for the identification of such agents and the use of MKK3 in the diagnosis of inflammatory diseases including respiratory diseases such as asthma and asthma related conditions.
