PURPOSE: Installation structure of a balancer for an engine is provided to prevent noise between gears, and to improve assembling efficiency by securing the position accuracy of a rotating shaft of an idler gear with transmitting rotational force of the crankshaft to the lanchester type balancer through the idler gear. CONSTITUTION: A balancer mounting system of an engine is composed of a balancer gear(13) installed in a balancer(11) having a rotating shaft in an oil pan; a crank gear(3) installed in a crankshaft(1); an idler installation part(15) protruded in the lower part of a main bearing cap(9) supporting the crankshaft; a rotating shaft(7) formed in the idler installation part; and an idler gear(5) engaged with the crank gear and the balancer gear. The rotating shaft of the idler gear is supported by the main bearing cap, and engaged with the crank gear outputting rotational force from the crankshaft. Noise is minimized by accurately engaging the crank gear, the idler gear and the balancer gear with the rotating shaft of the idler gear.
